This one delivers crispy roasted sweet potatoes, savory taco turkey, cool cottage cheese, creamy avocado, and a spicy-sweet drizzle of hot honey. It’s high-protein, craveable, and ready in under 30 minutes.

Prefer beef? Swap in ground beef or bison.
Vegetarian? Use lentil-walnut taco “meat,” tofu crumbles, or plant-based ground to keep the flavor and protein high.

Hot Honey Ground Turkey Bowls (Viral TikTok Recipe)
Prep: 15 minutes | Cook Time: 30 minutes | Total: 45 minutes
Yield: Makes 4 servings
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs sweet potato, peeled, diced into ~1/4″ cubes
- salt, pepper, cinnamon to taste
- 1 lb 93/7 lean ground turkey
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp taco seasoning
- 2 cups cottage cheese (choose your favorite, we did)
- 4 small avocados
- 2 tablespoons hot honey
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment.
- Add diced sweet potatoes, spray lightly with oil, and season with salt, pepper, and a pinch of cinnamon.
- Bake for 30 minutes, flipping and seasoning again halfway.
- While potatoes bake, heat a pan over medium-high heat. Add ground turkey and cook for ~5 minutes, breaking it up as it browns. Drain excess fat.
- Add tomato paste, taco seasoning, and a splash of water. Stir and cook for 1–2 more minutes. Remove from heat.
- Build your bowl: sweet potato, taco turkey, cottage cheese, and sliced avocado.
- Drizzle with hot honey. Serve and enjoy.
